Build your leadership skills and power to influence with like-minded women and male allies in global development

The Christian Alliance for Inclusive Development

When God uses the gifts and abilities of all people, especially women,

greater health and wholeness can be achieved throughout the global community.

We are a network of women and male allies working together to that end,

advancing shalom in our communities through networking and relationship building,

advocacy, spiritual formation and leadership development.

Women are central to faith-based development work

Did you know...

➜ women make up the majority of the sector's global workforce

➜ are the largest served population by NGOs

➜ are more often the key decision makers regarding charitable giving

Yet, women hold less than 20% of
leadership roles in faith-based development organizations?

Come join us at the table

There is a critical need to form a new, vibrant community where women
are welcomed, heard, empowered, and mentored to be the leaders God has created them to be
as they forge new solutions to address global poverty.

As an influential, learning-oriented (members serving members) diverse community,
The Alliance provides that missing place for women and male allies working in global development worldwide

to connect, encourage one another and influence the sector for the better.

What members say…

“As a woman CEO, it’s hard to find a community and network that understands what it’s like being a woman in leadership – particularly a woman of color.  The Alliance gives me access to a diverse community of professional women who understand the uniqueness of being a woman in leadership. At the same time, I’m able to offer my experience of being a leader of color from India to encourage and build up my sisters around the world.”
– Anu George Canjanathoppil, CEO IJM Canada

"As a young professional woman who aspires to leadership in the NGO sector, the Alliance has allowed me to connect with female leaders around the world, learn from them, develop professionally, and connect with others in global development who consistently inspire me. Most of all, it has given me the courage to own my ambition with humility and grace."
– Sarah Jackson, Talent Management, Compassion International
